A Visit to the Courts

On the 25th of March, the Firewall Team (Gatekeepers Prayer & Intercession Ministry) made their way down to the Courts to pray. There were specific prophetic acts & scriptures that God had placed on our hearts to pray & decree over the courts & the city.

There was great excitement, as we piled into one car and drove to the courts. I shared a little about the mission of the court which is the implementation of justice in our society. As we continued to share about this – we noticed lightning in the sky. I was immediately reminded of the scripture in Luke 10:18 where Jesus told His disciples that ‘He saw Satan fall like lightning.’ I felt led to pray that the lightning in the natural would be a sign of God shaking and displacing demonic powers over our city.

After the team prayed over two bottles of anointing oil, we got out of the car and separated into four groups. We agreed to mainly pray for justice & righteousness, Christians to be raised up in the courts (in influential positions), prisoners to receive a touch from God and above all for laws to be passed in favor of the Kingdom.

As we began to walk, pray, decree and anoint the walls, steps, pillars and ground with oil – it began to drizzle. One group walked around the building, some prayed at the entrance of the courts, some prayed for the judges (whose names were written on a board outside the building) – and as we did, the weather around us began to change. From a slight drizzle – it was now raining so heavily that we decided to head back to the car.

As we walked to the car, huge pieces of hail (ice) began to fall. This hasn’t happened for years in our city – and as the Firewall team stood outside hearing the thunder, seeing the lightning & feeling the heavy rain & hail – it felt like there was a war going on around us. We felt our faith levels soar – and continued to pray in the car – for the plans and purposes of God to come to pass in the courts & in our city.

We are so thankful to God for showing up the way He did.
We will continue to pray until His kingdom comes & His will is established in our city & nation.

LoVe is a JournEy BacK iN TimE

Love is not really love, unless there is a potential for sacrifice, vulnerability and rejection in the exchange.

"Imagine Jesus on the Cross,WHO from eternity past has not knowing what rejection is... Now feeling the wrath of the Father not in the realm of time alone, but time and Eternity BOTH."- Selah

Love is the journey between the conversation of a FATHER and SON

All the way from "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" to "Eloi, Eloi Lama Sabachthani" (My God, My God why have You forsaken Me?) and... we are plastered right into the ACCEPTANCE that was made manifest in a split second...

We now have to make the opposite journey (back in time) from feeling forsaken to being the ACCEPTED.

God Bless you all,

Govind P.

THE UNION

I look at Your face
The loveliness of Your glory
Shines down on me
Comforts me, softens me

Your whisper blows away
The webs of anxiety
My heart rises
My despair sinks to the ashes

Your beauty hovers over me
Blankets of Your love
Wrap me closely
In Your arms I melt away

I fall to the floor
All of me surrendered to You
“My beloved, I am yours,” You say
You have won me over, O my King.

Encounter

Seated on a majestic throne of glistening gold
Flashes of lightning and shouts of thunder surround Him
Power, color and energy exude from His being
As myriads of angels sing and dance around Him.

Brokenness and praise is offered up unto Him
Elders fall on their faces to adore Him
Life in itself is contained in this God.

And yet as I enter, I catch His attention
Ferocious love and passionate delight surround me
Peace, joy and pleasure permeate my being
As I sing & dance to the rhythm of His heart.

Tears and praise are all I have to offer Him
Reckless abandonment of my heart unto Him
My life itself is contained in this God.

Maturing as sons of God

One of the ultimate goals I believe for the Christian is maturing into a place of being a son of God, this applies to both genders. Notice I did not write being the Son of God, but being a son of God. Jesus is the Son of God who is to be worshiped, but when He came to the earth He showed us how to live as sons of God. He came as a Son and laid His divinity aside, and just like us He faced temptations, but did not yield to any of those temptations (HEB 4:15). Another difference is that Jesus consistently brought the Realm of the Kingdom in every situation that was inconsistent to Heaven’s reality. What do I mean by that?
JOHN 10:10 states that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, so that tells us that everywhere we see death, destruction, sickness, disease, poverty, torment, that is a mark that the enemy is at work in that area of a person’s life.

The call for us is to respond to the words of Jesus in Matt. 10:7-8 "And as you go, preach, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.", by being aware of the Kingdom that’s in us and around us, and effectively being able to release the kingdom to every place we see the enemy’s hand prints and undo those works.

Well the next question you may ask is how do we co-labor with the Lord and release His Kingdom? Jesus made a profound statement in John 5:19 "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner." I believe that this is one of the most important ways in releasing His Kingdom consistently. As we grow in our relationship with the Holy Spirit and are truly led by him, like it states in Rom 8:14, then as mature sons we will be able to hear what the Father is saying, cooperate with him and release his power to destroy the works of the enemy.

Let me give you an example, one late Thursday night I was in prayer before our Friday service. In this time of prayer, the Lord gave me a vision of a lady who looked a little over 40 years of age; she had her hand on her hip and seemed to be in a lot of pain. As I saw the vision the Lord told me that she had a bad hip problem and he wanted me to release that word the next day in our service. He told me as she responds, to just release a word of healing over her and that she would be healed. Well, the next day I did as the Lord told me and as I explained the vision, a lady seated in the last row stood up saying this vision was of her since she had terrible hip pain. As she responded, I was able to release a word of healing and she was instantly healed. Wow praise God, I have seen this happen countless times over the years.

As you pursue the Lord and fall in love with him, may you grow in your sonship, and out of a place of hearing His voice may you become a portal of heaven to the needy and broken people in your sphere of influence.
